the other day huck and i were heading out for a wee jaunt and before i drove away i looked back to make sure we had everything we needed (the diaper bag, some sunscreen, our water bottles, a blanket).
soon i realized that huck, who is always holding something in each hand (a wooden animal, a fisher price person, a block, a car) grabbed the two things he thought he needed most: homepathic teething tablets and a blush brush.
I have a dustpan in the back seat of my car for the exact same reason . . . and a toddler-sized sock with a wooden egg in it.
